Sermon Series: GREATER
Sermon Title: I am Joyful
What is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus? First, that you should experience joy! A complete and satisfied joy! A joy that is not temporary or fleeting, but concrete.
As Christians, joy should be our deepest and most authentic emotion. Jesus Christ was full of great joy, and wants us to have the same joy. John 15:11 says, “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”
Friend, you were made for joy. You were made for Him, and His purpose is your joy. My question for you this week is: Where are you looking for joy? Where are you placing it? Is it in Jesus, or are you looking for and placing it elsewhere?
Today, if you have lost touch, and your heart is being clouded by circumstances and emotions, please know there is hope beyond the fog. Joy is the mountain, and the fog is temporary.
Would you turn to Him, obey Him, walk with Him and experience the fresh air and joy that He has for you?
