Sermon Series: GREATER
Sermon Title: I am Generous
Do you want a greater life? A blessed life? Are you holding on tightly to what you own, and struggling to be a generous Christian? If so, I encourage you to discover the truths and promises of generosity. A generous life is the key to the blessed life. God didn’t put us on earth to live for ourselves. He blessed us so that we can bless others. This is all part of how God makes us more like Himself.
Because God is generous, we should be generous. We wouldn’t have anything; we wouldn’t be alive if it weren’t for God’s incredible generosity. From the beginning, God didn’t hold anything back. God has opened up the Heavens for you, not to be a hoarder, but to let generosity flow through you like a river.
Generosity brings freedom from fear, worry, and from the love of money; it releases the power of God over your life. Your treasure will be stored and rewarded in Heaven, and it will be remembered by God.
Friend, He is good right now! Are you willing to sow your time, talent, and finances into your relationship and into the Kingdom of God by faith?
What is one way this week you can bless someone who is in need?
