HE IS: Light in the Darkness

God is light, and in Him there is no darkness. The fact that God is light sets up a natural contrast with darkness. First John 1:6 says that, “If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.” Verse 5 says, “God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.”

God is the Creator of physical light as well as the Giver of spiritual light by which we can see the truth. Light exposes that which is hidden in darkness; it shows things as they really are. To walk in light means to know God, understand the truth, and live in righteousness.

Believers in Christ must confess any darkness within themselves – their sins and transgressions – and allow God to shine His light through them.

Friend, our biggest privilege and responsibility is to steward our hearts well – to tend to what God is doing inside of them, to stay vulnerable with God, inviting Him into our every situation, our every moment, saying, “Know me God. Search me and know me.”

His searching light is redemptive. Would you invite Him to shine light into your heart? To be able to repent and walk humbly?

Developing A Prophetic Culture With Brother Cedric Nesbitt

Every person on the planet was created with a specific identity, purpose and destiny. To activate something is to start it off, trigger it and set it in motion. The purpose of this group is to activate your identity, gifts, purpose, and destiny so that you can function and flow like never before.

This 3-part session is designed to prepare and equip the Body of Christ to properly understand how to relate to the voice of God and prophetic ministry. It is laying a foundation of excellence in the development and function of prophetic ministry in and through the Church.

Campus Ministry Update

The hand of God has been on our Every Nation Campus efforts at ASU this semester since day one! Because many of you are faithfully giving week after week, we are able to send out a small army to be all about relationship at the ASU Campus.

Two weeks ago we touched 70 students in one day! Several of the students were international Muslim students hearing about the Gospel for the first time!

40% of students report suffering from isolation, depression and loneliness – that’s 30,000 students walking around campus dying for relationship. This is the WHY behind our work on the campus.

Our interns aren’t just sitting behind a table – they’re engaging students relationally, and doing life together with them.
